Our wedding sugared almonds arrive ready to place on your tables, in a favour box engraved with both your names and the date of the ceremony. You choose the filling: almond dragees for tradition, chocolate dragees for guests with a sweet tooth.
Halal, with no animal gelatine
All our confectionery is halal and free from animal gelatine. It is the first question families ask for a Muslim wedding, and the answer often decides which supplier they choose. The same sugared almonds suit any ceremony that excludes alcohol and pork gelatine.
Choosing your wedding favour box
A velvet wedding favour box sets a careful reception scene and stands up on the plate. The glass container shows the colour of the almonds and is kept after the party. The sugared almond flower follows the presentation used at oriental weddings, assembled by hand in our four colours.

How many per guest
Five sugared almonds per adult guest. Orders start at 20 pieces, with volume discounts above 50. For an oriental wedding above two hundred guests, order generously: the almonds also travel to the families who stayed at home.
Lead times
Allow 5 to 8 working days for making, then 3 to 5 days for delivery, so 10 to 15 days in all. Order six weeks before the wedding to keep some margin for changes to the proof.

How many sugared almonds per person at a wedding?
Five per adult guest, three per child. Add ten per cent of margin: there are always extra guests, and families who take a share home for those who stayed behind.
Why five and not four or six?
Mediterranean tradition calls for an odd, indivisible number, standing for a couple that cannot be separated. The five almonds represent health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life. Some oriental families use seven, a lucky number.
Why are sugared almonds given at weddings?
The almond coated in sugar stands for the bitterness and the sweetness that make up a shared life. The custom goes back to Roman antiquity and settled into European, Maghrebi and oriental weddings alike.
What do wedding sugared almonds cost?
Between €2.80 and €4.60 per filled container depending on the model. Prices drop from 50 pieces and fall further above 100. The container weighs more in the final price than the confectionery does.
Can you get cheap wedding sugared almonds?
The organza pouch and the card box cost less than velvet or glass. Ordering a single model in large quantity also costs less than three models split between tables, and makes laying the tables simpler.
